I have After Effects 5.5 installed but when I try to open the program I get an error: AfterFX.exe - Entry Point Not Found. The Procedure entry point BEE_StreamLookup count not be located in the dynamic link library AfterFX1.dll.
I am working on Windows 2000 professional. Installation was successfull but can't open program. Please help. video...@videocopies.com

dll and exe are music to my ears. Please tell us if this is a sudden glithc in an otherwise long standting career with After Effects or a brand new installation.

if it's a new installation, you'll need to call Adobe.

This is a new installation. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. No luck opening up the program. I get the same error message and can't use the program. Please email directly, I am in need of a quick solution should someone have it. video...@videocopies.com

I updated to 5.51 and the problem was solved. I believe that my o/s had some programs that were point to my network and caused AfterEffects not to open. All works fine now.
