adobe conversion word to pdf

hi

have got adobe writer version 5 with an update installed to version 6.

seem to be able to convert some documents to PDF but others fail.

I do not know why.

Everything appears to go ok, except at the end the file does not come up to be viewed by pdf reader/writer. If i search on my hard drive for the file it does not appear. Only the word document format appears.

The file is 5mb in size. Could this be the problem? The other files i have converted are much smaller in size.

Has anyone got any ideas i can try?

Version 6 of what, Acrobat or Reader. It sounds like you are using the PDFWriter that came with AA5, but may be using Reader 6. If it is Acrobat 6, then print to the Adobe PDF printer and not the PDFWriter.

You have left a lot of information out in terms of software versions, operating system and such that affects the answer.
