It seems as though I used to be able to get good quality results by going to File/Export/Extract Images As/JPEG Files. Now when I try this, I get an error message:

"Acrobat could not extract any images from this document. Only images stored as XObjects in the document can be extracted. This functionality does not work on patterns or paths.

This could also be due to existing errors in the document or limitations of the 'Extract Images As..." functionality."

Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this problem.

This document is actually a technical drawing made by using Adobe Acrobat Distiller to convert an AutoCAD .dwg file to .pdf. This we do all the time without any problem. However, now I am attempting to convert the pdf to jpg, which I am certain I did successfully as recently as a week or two ago. I just wonder if something has become corrupted?

Thanks for any assistance you may be able to offer.

There will be no images in an AutoCAD drawing, so the results are to
be expected. You should be able to save whole pages as JPEG, however.

Does the document contain any images (photos)? How was it made?
