how to check pdf resolution

Hi all

Ive working with indesign CS and want to place/import pdf
but how can I check/ see the info about resolution and color ..

PDF files do not have a resolution. Rather, PDF files may contain
zero, one, or more images (bitmaps), and each of them can have a
DIFFERENT resolution.

Given that,the question "what resolution does this PDF have" doesn't
have an answer.

But the question "Does this PDF file contain any images which have a
resolution below XXX dpi" can be answered. This can be done with the
Preflight function in Acrobat Professional.
