How to Print the contents of comments in a PDF

We have a few users who add comments to their PDF's. When they go to print the PDF's and check the comments box, it prints the icons, drawing marks and highlights, but not the contents of the comments that are made. This can be replicated by everyone.
I've searched the knowledgebase and there is nothing in there. I've also searched in this forum. Can anyone help please?

edit>preferences>general.
Select comment in the left pane, tick the bottom option.
