Hi,

I use windows 95 and was wondering if Acrobat writer 6.x works with 95. I realise that officially it is not supported, but was wondering whether it works with 95 or not.

Alternatively, I still own some copies of 5.0 which works with 95. But, will the license that I get for 6.x allow me to downgrade the license to use 5.x instead.

I tried to post this to Adobe, but could not find an email for them that I can use.

Thanks for the help

There is no product called Acrobat Writer.

But none of the Acrobat 6.0 family (Acrobat Professional 6.0, Acrobat
Standard 6.0, Adobe Reader 6.0) will work in Windows 95.

I suspect for the licensing question you should call Adobe's Customer
Service.

Thanks for the info. By Adobe Writer, I mean Adobe standard.

Acrobat Standard will work in Windows 98 SE (Second Edition), Windows
2000, Windows XP.

Acrobat Professional will not work in Windows 98, any edition.
