I am trying to create a PDF of a PowerPoint presentation using PowerPoint 2003 (SP3) and Acrobat 8 Standard (8.1.2) such that each slide prints with the slide title vertically on the left slide of the page. I would like the slide to print as large as possible so that it nearly takes up the entire portion of a letter-sized page.

The desired PDF described above was the default output of PowerPoint slides when using Acrobat 7.1.0. I recently upgraded to 8.0 and I cannot get the slides to print in the same manner. The PDF created with 8.0 contains slides which are too big for letter paper and horizontally positioned on the page. Is it possible to get my desired output using 8.0?

Thanks

All that Acrobat does is create a PDF that looks like what PPT wants to print. The fact that you are using AA8 should not make a difference. If you are using PDF Maker, there may have been some options there that allowed you to print such an output, but that is the only option that I know of that might be related to your question.
