How does Acrobat feature? What would you be designing the cards in? Do
you have a suitable printer?

Would like to print flashcards. a word in front and a definiton in back. Just standard index cards or the like, nothing flashy.

7.0 is available.

Not really, in any way, I can see. You wouldn't do this in Acrobat.
Maybe you can do it in Excel, but to me a mail merge in Word sounds
like an easy way to do it. Given that, I don't see any particular
advantage to using PDF.

I have Adobe PDF Professional 6.0. 7.0 is on the way?

Let me start from the beginning. I have a list of words and their definitions. I would like to create flashcard for each one of them. The word in front and the definition in the back.

I can create the input file (list) in excel, word (table) or any other format required. Then I can input them in PDF?

As for the printer I have access to several of them and if needed I will find one that meets the requirements. Yet, I don't know what printer I really need.

Thanks

Thanks. That is what I needed. Point the way. I will go try to find something in Word/Excel in how to do it. Do you have any idea where to go ask? I hate to reinvent the wheel if there is something out there.

Thanks.

You could start out by looking up "mail merge" in the Word help.
That's the buzzword to use.

bstqzp = try a google on hot potatoes (or is it hot potatoe?)

If it does not do exactly what you wish it to there may be links to similar stuff from the website

deebs

BTW I am assuming a, for example, multi-choice answer may feature in what you seek to do and, of course look at macromedia's website too
