Using the Acrobat PDF as PDF printer in Excel - hyperlinks disappear

Platforme: Windows 2000

I am using Acrobat Pro 7.0.0 pro and I have Excel 2002 ver.
10.4524.4219 SP-2 spreadsheets from a colleague that contain some URL
hyperlinks to various webpages. When I use the Acrobat toolbar button
to convert my spreadsheet into a PDF file, the hyperlinks are no
longer active. The links maintain their graphic appearance (blue,
underlined) but they do not launch a browser window for the URL's
webpage.

What is the best way to solve this problem?

Some have mentioned http://prep4pdf.pptools.com as a solution, but
does it really work, and can't you make Acrobat work?

I believe I just solved it myself - even though it was really easy -
it still mystifies me! The solution was:

Don't print to PDFWriter, nor Distiller. The only way to get
hyperlinks is PDFMaker - the button or menu added to Office.

So if anybody has any input, please do share.
