printing documents to PDF

I know that documents, i.e. word-docs can be printed to
PDF-format but forgot how. PDF would appear as 'a printer'
in the printer list.
Anybody who can tell me about?

You need to buy Adobe Acrobat that comes
with distiller or you have to download free CutePDF
and install it so you can print files to PDF.
You can go to http://www.cutepdf.com/index.htm to
download a free writer.
