Sticky notes / comments gone in Acrobat 9?

I upgraded to version 9 of Acrobat reader recently. I can't remember
what version I used before, but I used to be able to add sticky notes
(yellow speech bubble thingies) to pdf documents. This was a very
useful feature and I would like to enable it again. Can someone
explain how to do that? I've looked in the menus and don't see
anything relevant. Otherwise, what version should I revert to?
