Adobe v 7 pro typewriter tool missing

Have installed program and there is no typewriter tool. Can someone
help troubleshoot this problem for me please thanks

Actually, no it is not there, it is not listed under tools where it
normally is and there is no icon either.
Somehow it has not loaded up and other than unloading and reloading,
which is a pain and time consuming was wondering if there is a way to
just load this particular tool from the disk alone.
Also does it take a certain computer output to even work, maybe the
machine I have it on is not up to specs. Will have to check the box
and computer but think it should be okay.

I understand your problem, but both in my Acrobat 8 and 7 installations
(different 'puters), the typewriter tool is right there under Tools.

I have often overlooked it and used the textbox to enter text. It is a
LOT more customizable, so maybe that's an alternative for you.

Off loaded and re loaded full program and still no typewriter tool...
There may be alternatives (text box) but that is not the issue. The
issue is where is the tool bar and tool that has been bought and paid
for and supposed to function. It was there on the old machine, so
what gives?

It appears to have been replaced by the "Text Box Tool" Look at Tools>Drawing Markups>Text Box Tool. Once you have the text box you can change its properties.
