I GET A LOT OF DOCUMENTS SENT TO ME IN pdf FORMAT, WHICH I STORE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE IN A DIRECTORY. I NEED TO BE ABLE TO SEARCH FOR KEY WORDS IN THIS DIRECTORY TO FIND SPECIFIC PDF FILES. I CAN ONLY SEARCH A KEYWORD IN A FILE THAT IS ALREADY OPEN. IN OTHER WORDS, IF I HAVE 100 PDF FILES IN A DIRECTORY AND I WANT TO FIND THE ONE THAT HAS THE KEYWORD "INTERNET" IN IT, HOW CAN I DO THIS.
THANK YOU

See under "Seaching and indexing document collections" in the Acrobat
5.0 help (page 216 in my copy).

mIKE,

You will need access to the full version of Acrobat, so that you can use the Acrobat Catalog program. This will create a keyword index that can be accessed with the search-enabled version of Reader.
