I have a complexe filestructure with more than 50 documents written in word. Each document is connected to a pdf-document by a relativ hyperlink. The hyperlinks were setted in word.

Now I have to convert all word-documents in pdf-documents under the same file-structure and put all pdf-documents on a CD.

The problem: All relative hyperlinks in Word were changed in absolut hyperlinks.

Does anybody know, what I have to do, that the pdf-printer set relativ links?

Bettina

In Word's Acrobat menu, try embedding document tags in the conversion settings and if needed, unselect 'view result in Acrobat'. Embedding tags will mean the conversion process will take much longer, but it should produce the link results you want.

Apparently the PDFMaker macro (word to pdf) changes relative to absolute links. If you don't use PDF Maker macro you don't get any links. SO, perhaps you need somesort of links utility. Have a look at:

may be this could help.
