Is there anyway to embed fonts after a file has already been distilled to PDF? I have a 405 page PDF, made up of many smaller PDF file, and I have no way of getting the original documents. I need the fonts embedded, but I don't know if it can be done while in PDF already. Please help.

You can print the PDF to the Acrobat Distiller printer, and select "Embed all fonts" in the job options. The newly-created PDF will have the fonts embedded. Of course, you must have all of the relevant fonts installed in your system for this to work.
