How do I rotate a text box (say 90 degrees)in Acrobat 5.0? The rotate view buttons on the tool bar rotate the whole page - I just want to rotate the text box (created using the free text tool).

Rotate the page (Document > Rotate Pages), add the annotation, and rotate the page back.

George,

was doing a search on how to 'rotate text' and i came across your post.

am new to PDFs - i am using Acrobat 5.0.

rotated the document and then when I hit CTRL click while using the Touchup Text Tool - it shows the cursur rotated so that i am typing up, thereby not accomplishing the goal. what am i doing wrong?

Thanks !

Jeremy,

You might want to describe exactly what you're trying to accomplish.

George,

In the meantime I have discovered if I use the Free Text Tool in lieu of the TouchUp Text Tool when starting new text - then the rotation works fine.

Thanks !
