How do you convert a PDF file to an Excel file. The PDF file that I am using is 117 pages long. I have already tried saving the file using the Adobe distiller. I then used the "Table/Formatted Text Select Tool". This works fine for a 1 page document, but it doesn't seem to allow me to select information from more than one page at a time.

There is, unfortunately, no way to convert the PDF directly back into an Excel document as you can, for example, by saving it as a Word .doc file. It would seem you would need to use the method you used for one page for all 117 pages of your PDF...

Hope it doesn't take too long! : (

You could, of course, use one of the many applications that claim to do this; FineReader, ScanSoft are two of the top of my head.

Be sure to get hold of a demo version first though - the results are usually crap!
