I have Acrobat Reader 5.0 and here's what it says; "An updated version of Reader is availible. Click Get Update to open Acrobat update website" I click "Get Update" and go to the website and find....no update. I searched the website for an update for my version--plug-in--anything! Nothing. There is a new, 6.0 version of something available but i could not determine if it is an update or an entirely new program. By reading other posts I surmised that one should not go about it as if one were updating the 5.0 version, rather uninstall it and install the 6.0 version. That isn't what I would call an update. But, alas, system requirements for the new 6.0 version specify a Pentium class processor, surly my AMD Athlon XP 2400 wouldn't stand up to such a load.

Reader 5.1 is available but is not an update. The Reader does not update - they are released as fuil versions.

Download Reader 6.0.1 - "Pentium class processor" is fairly meaningless. It is your operating system that is important.
