How to remove catalog feature?

Hi Folks,
I currently have acrobat 7 professional. I've been trying to remove
files from my drive to make some space, and i've come across about 113
Mb of acrobat catalog files. I don't use the catalog feature at all,
and would like to completely remove this from acrobat, or at least keep
it from making these greedy catalog files. Any ideas what I can do?
