Hi all,

I have a .JPG that is a blue picture drawn on a white background.

I wish to remove the white completely from the image without the blue's
quality being effected.

I realise I can select the white with the magic wand, change it's
settings (tolerence etc) and the delete the selection from the layer.
Most of the time this results in a loss of quality on the blue.

I know there is a way of doing this in the GIMP but i would prefer to
use Photoshop if there is a similar tool built into it.

I am currently using Photoshop CS2.

Thanks in advance,

Darren

I would suggest that you use the "select" menu and choose "color
range..." There you will find there are options and adjustments. Play
around with it and I am sure that you will have your desired solution.
