The Yaeyama, Japan:

 

 

The Yaeyama will definitely remind you of The Caribbean once you visit it. This is just a perfect place for your vacation. You can enjoy the sun, the sand, beautiful blue sea and of course their amazing sushi. Ishigaki has the best beaches, Taketomi its famous because of its traditional Ryukyuan houses and Iriomote is a place for kids, with baths with termal springs.

 

 

Con Dao, Vietnam:

 

Another penitentiary that changed into heaven. Con Dao was a home to one of world’s worst prisons in human history. Now Con Dao is more like a national park. These 16 islands are full of dense jungles, clear water, white sandy beaches, turtles and dolphins. If you want to visit this island, don’t do it from June-September because of the strong wind that comes from the south, and the wind from the east comes from September-January.

 

 

Bay & Hog, Honduras:

 

Forget about the Pirates of The Caribbean, beaches covered with sand are the real thing! This island was a home to many thiefs, killers and robbers. Nowadays, this island is famous because of its beautiful beaches, diving and the amazing tropical atmosphere. If you wanna go there, you have a plenty of resorts where you can spend your quality time.

 

 

Penghu, Taiwan:

 

It is located far far away, from the capital city called Makung. If you like sunny places, sandy beaches and fishing, then this is definitely a place for you. Penghu country is the second smallest country in Taiwan, and it covers 141 square kilometres. It was captured by the French in march 1885. There was also a huge airplane crash above the island, when all the 225 passengers and crew on board were killed.

 

 

Torres Straits, Australia:

 

 

Located south from the Cape York, the 274 islands that belong to the Torres Straits island, have preserved its unique tribal culture. Torres Straits has it all: Airstrip, Luxury Hotels on the ”Thursday” & ”Horn” islands and many other things. However, if you want to visit this island, you need to get a permission from the regional authority at least one month before you visit it.

 

 

Arhipelag San Blas, Panama:

 

This is probably not the first place that comes on your mind when you think of The Caribbean, but it’s still very nice. Forget about luxury restaurants and hotels, because all you can have here is rural home. The only food is the one fishermen bring to the island. You can get in by helicopter, by plane and with a boat.

 

 

Ulleungdo, South Korea:

 

It is located right in the middle between South Korea and Japan. This volcanic island has no pollution, no thiefs, no snakes. It’s a perfect destination for all the mountaineers. There was a major eruption on this island, 9,350 years ago. It was awful. It reached a volcanic explosively index of 6. The main economic activity here is fishing, so if you feel like fishing, feel free to do it.

 

Iles du Salut, French Guiana:

 

Many people have heard of Devil’s Island, but not many of them know where is it located. It is located 11km away from French Guiana, but you can’t get to it by walking. No, no. If you wann get to this island you’ll either have to get a boat, or swim through a 11km long way thats full of sharks!

 

 

Ssese, Uganda:

 

 

Ssese island, that is located right in the middle of the African Lake, contains all the oerfect elements. It has sandy beaches, palms, flora and fauna. Except from laying under the sun and getting tan, most of the people like to go through the jungle hoping they’ll see some weird new animals and things. You can also enjoy the canoe ride on the lake.
