Hello everyone,

I hope this message finds you well.

I wanted to address an issue I'm currently facing.

In an effort to try fixing the ADNI-to-BIDS converter used in the Clinica software tool, I faced an issue while recovering the fields "Study ID" and "Series ID" from the PET meta data.

Before October 2024, a file named PET_META_LIST listing some meta data about all PET images and containing those fields was available and downloadable from the IDA LONI platform.

After that date and the platform change, this file was removed and the meta data were spread among several other files (Clinical file from "Image Collections -> Data Collections", PETQC, PETMETA, ...).

I therefore tried to look for the different files containing those information, but I am currently unsusccessful at recovering the data regarding "Study ID" and "Series ID" ; I cannot find those info anywhere, even after consulting the data dictionary.

For MRI data, I could find those information contained in the file MRIQC, but the same cannot be said for PETQC, PIBQC, TAUQC, etc.

Can you help me resolving this issue by telling me if those info are still present in the clinical data, and if it is the case, where can I find them ?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Adam ISMAILI

Hi Adam,

I too used to use the PET_META_LIST (and similar list for MRI) to identify images available through the IDA, but as you indicated, those files are no longer available. I recommend submitting feedback to LONI regarding this issue (there is a feedback button on the opening page of the ARC Builder):

Hi Danielle,

Thank you very much for your reply and your advice. I will try to contact the IDA LONI support by submitting a feedback as you suggested.

Besides, I wanted to ask you something: How did you manage to do without those files after they were removed, particularly PET_META_LIST ?
Did you find a workaround to retrieve all the old information from the new CSV files, or did you have to give up some of the data ?

Best regards,

Hi Adam,

The only thing I have done is download the csv from the advanced image search, which has the date and an image ID, but not all of the variables. We use the information for tracking reports we provide to the MRI and PET Cores about what we see available at LONI and what we see in terms of data the processing labs have provided. So, we can’t verify specific images that labs have processed (or not), but at least know if there is an image for that participant on that date, whether or not the lab has generated data from it.
