Hi folks,

I am having a really hard time to download the MRI data that I need for my dissertation project.

I have a set of approximately 1000 images that I want to download. At first, I tried to download the entire collection, but it is just impossible because download speed is barely 20 kbps and file size is over 20Gb. Not to mention the fact that the download corrupts all the time.

Thus, I broke the dataset down in smaller collections of 25 images. However I am still facing the same issues of slow and corrupt download files.

I tried downloading in both Windows and Linux (WSL Ubuntu 20.04), I see no difference.

Is there a way to better download that?

I was thinking if I could build an script and download data via API, is that possible?

Thank you.

Also, I have tried download from two different linux VMs, but without success. No matter what I do, I always get HTTP 403 Error. Probably because the connection is not secure or because the LONI server thinks I am executing some sort of automation or scrapping.

Did you try using the windows OS machine to download? The downloading speed it around 100k~500k/s in my case.
