Hi everyone:

An error appeared when I install the package ADNIMERGE_0.0.1.tar.gz into R, and the message was:

Warning in install.packages :
  running command '"D:/Program Files/R/R-3.0.1/bin/x64/R" CMD INSTALL -l "D:\Program Files\R\R-3.0.1\library" "ADNIMERGE_0.0.1.tar.gz"' had status 1
Warning in install.packages :
installation of package ‘ADNIMERGE_0.0.1.tar.gz’ had non-zero exit status

My computer is x64, and I tried with both R and R studio for several times. Did someone met the same problem, and could anyone give me some suggestion to solve it? Thanks in advance!

Hi Xinzhu,

I was unable to reproduce this via:

install.packages("ADNIMERGE_0.0.1.tar.gz", repos = NULL, type = "source")

Do you have Hmisc installed (install.packages("Hmisc"))?

Is anyone else having this issue?

A few weeks ago, I had trouble installing the ADNIMERGE package, but that was because I was getting an error message when trying to install the Hmisc package on my laptop.  Just now, I tried it again on my laptop and had no problems, so not sure exactly what the problem was before.

Oh that was not my problem. I have installed Hmisc packages successfully. Do you know any other possibilities?
