Hello everyone,

I am currently conducting research on Alzheimer's and urgently need access to patient medical history data, specifically the following:

1. History of depression and Alzheimer's-related conditions
2. Cholesterol levels (Total and HDL)
3. Smoking history
4. Diabetes history or treatment
5. Hypertension history or treatment

Could you kindly guide me to the relevant CSV files and their corresponding filenames where this data can be found?
I deeply appreciate your time and assistance, and I am grateful for any help you can provide.

Best regards,
Rebwar

Hi,

Thank you for your response.

Given the number of files, I would really appreciate it if you could point me to one or two that might contain the data I’m looking for. It would certainly help in navigating the rest of the files more easily.

Thanks again for your time and help.

Hi Rebwar,

You might find the data dictionary search helpful (https://adni.loni.usc.edu/data-samples/data-dictionary-search). You can enter keywords and it will pull up variables and table names that contain those variables.

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for the link to the data dictionary search. It looks like a useful resource.

Just to clarify, are the "study files" the same as the data available through the R package, or are they different? If they’re the same, I find the R package more convenient and comprehensive.

Thanks again!

Best regards,
Rebwar
