I hope you are doing well.
I would like to inquire about the procedure for identifying progressive Mild Cognitive Impairment (pMCI) and stable Mild Cognitive Impairment (sMCI) subjects from the ADNI dataset. Could you please guide me regarding how to find out paired MRI and PET data be used for finding pMCI and sMCI? This can be across any ADNI data for example: ADNI-1, ADNI-2, and ADNI-GO etc.
Your guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and support.
The best way to identify progressors is to look at the longitudinal diagnosis information (in the Diagnostic summary table available for download). If someone switches from MCI at baseline to dementia at some future visit, they have progressed to dementia – occasionally, you might see a move back to MCI after a diagnosis of dementia, so you would need to make a decision as to how you want to handle that.
