Hi,
I am currently reconstructing the old ADNIMERGE table for ADNI1, GO, 2, and 3 and am trying to locate the three PET biomarkers listed in ADNIMERGE: FDG, PIB, and AV45.
I have not been able to identify these variables in the current IDA datasets based on the ADNIMERGE variable names or descriptions. Could you please clarify whether these variables are available in archived datasets from earlier phases, or if they are included in current PET image analysis datasets? If so, which datasets contain them?
Thank you very much for your help!
Best,
Tianyi
Hi Tianyi,
The files you will want all fall in the PET Image Analysis section of the ARC Builder/Study Files.
It looks like AV45 was based on SUMMARY_SUVR from the 8mm AV45 file from UC Berkeley (this was an older version, so now in _Archive, but there is a similar variable in the 6mm file: UC Berkeley – Amyloid PET 6mm Res analysis)– note that ADNI has added more amyloid tracers, so the PET Core now recommends using Centiloids across tracers (you can refer to the corresponding methods document to learn more – UC Berkeley Amyloid PET Processing Methods.
PIB is the average of ACG, FRC, PRC and PAR in PIBPETSUVR (UPitt - PIB PET Analysis)
FDG corresponds to MEAN (where ROINAME==”MetaROI”) divided by MEAN (where ROINAME==”Top50PonsVermis”) corresponding to the same VISCODE2 for a given RID (refer to the methods document) – UC Berkeley – FDG 8mm Res Analysis
