I have downloaded the MRI images from the image collection  and gather the tabular information with the ADNImerge packageA patient usually have numerous MRI sequence with different imageUID and I guess it is the multiple visits' results. However, for the downloaded MRI samples, I can not find their imageUID in the ADNImerge tabular

For any mri sample downloaded, I can not find its clinical data in the tabular when aligning by imageUID. How can I find the tabular information of specific MRI? The  tabular is attached

Hello,

You are correct in that imageUID is a unique identifier for the image. PTID is in the format of XXX_S_YYYY where YYYY is the RID (a participant identifier used in the data tables). In ADNIMERGE, you will find both RID and PTID. ADNIMERGE just pulls commonly used variables into a single table, but you can access many other data tables including the original tables containing those variables. You can also access individual tables for different MRI results (for example, BSI or FreeSurfer results) on the Study Data page which usually include IMAGEUID along with the measurements derived from the images. If you want to merge with other tables, however, you will likely be using some combination of RID, VISCODE or VISCODE2, EXAMDATE or VISDATE (by selecting the closest EXAMDATE or VISDATE for that participant).

Hello,

As in my response to your earlier question, imageUID is specific to the image, but most data tables use RID which is the person identifier. That, in combination with VISCODE, VISCODE2, EXAMDATE or VISDATE would help you identify relevant information from other tables.

We ask that you please don’t include screen shots or attach data to the emails. You explained your question sufficiently to be answered without the screen shot.

Thank you,

Danielle
