Dear ADNI team,

I have been working on pre-processing the ADNI3 Tau data, both for cross-sectional and longitudinal studies.

After some issues, I revisited the quality of the data (from Step 2: co-registered and averaged) and realized that there are several PET scans that show some type of streak/bands, as I send attached.

I have not seen these issues flagged in the PET QC file from the Study Files (I can provide a list of a subset of the participants/sessions displaying these issues). Do you have any recommendation on how to proceed? Ideally, I would not want to drop all of these scans.

It is apparent in my case that these problems arised for several subjects in sites 032, 041, 094, and 127.

I would greatly appreciate any type of guidance on how to deal with these issues.

Hi David,

I have sent a message to the PET Core to get their recommendation. I will reply again once I hear back from them.
