Hi all, I have two questions

Do participants from adni become a new 3t baseline scan when they go to adni Go? If so how is this identifiable?

Which file was used as Freesurfer input ? The preprocessed ( gradwarp/1b corrected/N3) or starting from DICOM?

I want to rerun adni1 files in a later freesurfer version

thanks a lot

Participants from ADNI-1 continuing on to ADNI-GO and 2 were scanned at 1.5T unless there was a change of scanner such that the 1.5T scanner was no longer available. There were some participants who switched to 3T for this reason.

According to the methods document for the FreeSurfer summaries (available for download on the LONI Study Data page where you can find the FreeSurfer data), "the input for ADNI FreeSurfer is a T1 weighted image (MPR or IR-SPGR) in NiFTI format which has been pre-processed (gradient warping, scaling, B1 correction and N3 inhomogeneity correction) by Mayo Clinic"

Thank you very much for the quick response!!

The root of my question regarding freesurfer is that step 2 of recon -all is a Nu correction ( which is MINC N3) , If I read right this would mean that it gets N3 corrected twice.
