What do the scores of FDG in ADNIMERGE.csv mean?

According to ADNI Data Dictionary Search, the definition of FDG is "Average FDG-PET of angular, temporal, and posterior cingulate". But what do the FDG scores (e.g. 1.36926, 1.09079, etc) mean? Thank you.

The FDG values are a composite measure meant to capture the average FDG uptake in the ROIs. See the attached for some information on how the ROIs were derived.

Does a lower FDG uptake indicate higher probability of AD?  I have little background in FDG-PET.

Yes, on average AD have lower values on this measure than MCI or Normals.
