I’m currently analyzing AV outcome variables from the Neurobat dataset and came across two records for RID 4400 with the same exam date but conflicting values.

RID: 4400
Dataset: Neurobat
Exam Date: 2022-02-07

Issue:
Both records are complete but report different values across several AV outcome variables, including:

  • AVTOT1: 7.0 vs. 3.0

  • AVTOT2: 8.0 vs. 7.0

  • AVERR2: 0.0 vs. 1.0

  • AVTOT3: 9.0 vs. 10.0

  • AVTOT4: 11.0 vs. 14.0

What is the recommended approach for handling this kind of discrepancy? Should one record be prioritized or excluded?

Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Hi Victor,

This looks like a data entry error by the site for the year. If you look in the REGISTRY file for this participant, you will see a date of 2/7/2022 for VISCODE==’y4’ and  2/7/2023 for VISCODE==’y5’.
