Greetings from ADMI.
Please find below an important invitation received from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) regarding the “ICMR–Medical Innovations Patent Mitra: Innovators to Industry Connect (I2I Connect)” conclave scheduled to be held on 25 May 2026 at Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi.
The conclave is aimed at fostering structured engagement between industry and biomedical innovators for technology transfer, material transfer, and patent licensing, with a focus on strengthening India’s biomedical innovation ecosystem through public–private partnerships.
The event will feature:
• Showcase of 80–100 biomedical technologies and biomaterials available for transfer
• One-to-one technology transfer interactions through the Medical Innovations Patent Mitra Technology Transfer Desk
• CEO Roundtable with senior Government officials on the theme: “Government–Industry Dialogue on Strengthening India’s MedTech Sector for Viksit Bharat–2047”
• Innovator pitches and industry interaction sessions
ADMI has been invited to participate in the session titled:
“Innovator–Industry Informal Interaction: Innovator Pitches to Industry – Translating Ideas into Impact” for the Medical Diagnostics segment.
ICMR has also requested nomination of 2–3 senior representatives (MD/CEO/GM level) from the association for participation in the CEO Roundtable.
Members interested in participating in the conclave are requested to share their nominations/details at the earliest.

has reference to the interaction held during the webinar addressed by the
Hon’ble Secretary, DHR & Director General, ICMR on 16 May 2026.
We
are pleased to invite your esteemed association to participate in the “ICMR–Medical Innovations Patent Mitra:
Innovators to Industry Connect (I2I Connect),” a technology transfer
facilitation conclave scheduled to be held on 25 May 2026 at Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi.
The
ICMR Patent Mitra I2I Connect is envisaged as a focused, outcome-oriented
initiative aimed at enabling structured engagement between industry and
biomedical innovators for technology transfer, material transfer, and patent
licensing. The conclave seeks to foster public–private partnerships to
strengthen India’s biomedical innovation ecosystem.
The
prestigious event will be graced by Hon’ble
Minister Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry
of AYUSH & Minister of State, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare,
along with senior dignitaries from key ministries and departments.
The
event will showcase 80–100 biomedical technologies and biomaterials available
for transfer, along with a dedicated Medical
Innovations Patent Mitra Technology Transfer Desk to facilitate one-to-one
meetings and real-time technology transfer interactions.
Participation
in the conclave will provide a valuable opportunity to engage with innovators
working on national health priorities, explore technology licensing
opportunities, and interact with senior government officials, policymakers, and
stakeholders from the medtech ecosystem.
Your
association with ICMR has been instrumental in advancing biomedical research
and innovation. In view of your experience in facilitating industry engagement
and technology licensing under the Medical Innovations Patent Mitra initiative,
we are pleased to invite you or your
representative to participate as a panellist in the session titled “Innovator–Industry Informal Interaction:
Innovator Pitches to Industry – Translating Ideas into Impact” for Medical diagnostic segment.
Further,
we request to nominate 2–3 senior representatives (MD/CEO/GM level) from association
for participation in the CEO Roundtable
with senior Government officials.on the theme “Government–Industry Dialogue
