With reference to email from ICMR, We are pleased to share that the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), under the guidance of NITI Aayog and in collaboration with the Department of Pharmaceuticals (DoP) and DPIIT, is organising an exclusive webinar on the initiative Medical Innovations – Patent Mitra: Innovators-to-Industry Connect (I2I Connect).
This initiative aims to strengthen India’s biomedical innovation ecosystem by supporting patent facilitation, technology transfer, and meaningful collaboration between innovators and industry stakeholders.
The webinar will be led by the Hon’ble Secretary, Department of Health Research (DHR) & Director General, ICMR, who will share insights on the upcoming I2I Connect platform and its role in advancing healthcare innovation in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat.

As you are kindly aware that under the esteemed guidance of NITI Aayog, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), in partnership with the Department of Pharmaceuticals (DoP), and with the invaluable support of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), has launched the Medical Innovations – Patent Mitra initiative. This initiative aims to provide expert guidance and comprehensive support to innovators, facilitating patent filings and the transfer of medical innovations, thereby strengthening the biomedical innovation ecosystem within the country.
