Learn how to separate company valuation myths from reality.

There are as many models for valuing businesses as there are analysts doing valuations. The objective of this program is to provide the fundamentals of the different valuation approaches, an understanding of the limitations of each approach and examples of each of the applications. The program will address discounted cash flow valuation and the estimation issues that arise when information is imprecise or unavailable, value enhancement through the prism of discounted cash flow models, and contrast different valuation techniques. Emphasis will be on practical applications of company valuation.

 Prof. Anil Menon

  • A Production Engineer and a Post Graduate in Management Studies from the prestigious Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.
  • Mr. Menon has completed his Docotral thesis on Mergers & Acquisition.
  • Mr Menon has more than 17 years experience in financial services & Investment Banking.
  • He began his corporate career with SBI Capital Markets Ltd, a premier investment bank in India.
  • He later moved on to S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research as faculty and is currently associated with Family Managed Business Program. The program is of 18 months and aims at developing the next generation to carry forward and grow their family business. He has submitted his doctoral thesis on Mergers and Acquisitions.
  • He is a consultant to leading financial services companies and has been active in the field of training having conducted workshops for SBI Capital Markets Ltd, Godrej Industries, Patni Computers, General Motors, HDFC Standard Life, GVK etc.
