2003 Bacchetta Corsa Recumbent For Sale

For the cycling enthusiast who thought they had every riding medium covered! This recumbent would be a fun diversion on your easy pace days. It really shines in rolling hills, flats and rail/trails. You will work harder on any serious climbs but friends will have a hard time hanging with you going down the other side!

Excellent condition, always stored indoors. Standard size frame (not XL). I'm 5'7" and the seat adjusts to accommodate a wide range of rider heights and seat back angle preferences. Ridden only 1887 miles. Bike is stock except for rear Koolstop Salmon brake pads and Vredestein Fortezza tires upgraded at 1000 miles. See picture below for full bike specifications. Bike was $2600 brand new.

All items pictured are included in the sale except for the bike stand and clipless pedals. I could include some basic pedals with the sale if needed but I would suggest riding with clipless pedals due to the crank being higher than the seat.

The extra front wheel pictured is a Velocity "Deep V" alloy rim with Shimano Dura Ace hub and Continental Grand Prix 3000 tire. Other included items: dual under seat water bottle holders, under seat wallet bag, large custom yellow seat bag, extra presta tube, one original Kenda Concept tire, Optima headrest, Zefal Spy Mirror and Cateye Astrale 8 computer with cadence.

If you're new to recumbents, don't be intimidated by the high crank position. You'll pick it up fast. Bring your clipless pedals with you for a test ride and I can show you the basics of highracer recumbent riding.
