Hi Sarah and Katy!
Hope all is well for you these days!

We have a need to fill and are hoping you could help us! We are in need of paddlers to assist us while our guests are on the water this weekend. 

What: Our Extravaganza at Erie Canal Boat Company. Guests will be trying out the adaptive kayak launch and adaptive and standard kayaking equipment. They will paddle around the area in front of ECBC - not going on a trek. 

Volunteer paddlers: Will keep a watchful eye for boat traffic and advise guests to move to the side; provide helpful tips for paddling; rarely, tow someone back in if they get fatigued. Paddlers generally only do a few circles and come back in, as this is just a try it session.

When: 11:00am - 2:00pm Saturday June 21 and Sunday June 22

We'd love to have 3 volunteers for each day.

I just volunteered for the adoptive paddling on Sunday. Just spoke to the person in charge if you look at the bottom of pegs email you'll see her number and email address.  Her name is Anita O'Brien.
