Paddles: Full Moon Paddle Saturday, August 9 and change for Monday, August 11.

Jay is going to lead a Full Moon paddle Saturday, August 9, on the Erie Canal in Fairport at 8:30 pm~10:30 pm.  The put in is at the Erie Canal Boat Company, 7 Liftbridge Lane W. It is a large parking lot across from the RV&E Bike shop.

Please note Main Street (Route 250) is closed just north of the launch site. Everyone must enter the village of Fairport from the south (Church St.) going north, go over the lift bridge, then turn left into the parking lot opposite the RV&E bike shop. 

Because we’ll be returning after dark, head lamps are recommended even with the lit parking lot. 

Monday, August 11

The original plan to paddle the Genesee River in Mt. Morris has been cancelled due to low water levels. Please stay tuned, we will plan a new location and are tentatively thinking of the north end of Hemlock again. Details will be coming.
