Monday paddle - Red Creek

​This Monday (17th) we'll be exploring Red Creek and parts of the canal and genesee river.  We'll launch our boats from the Genesee Waterways center off Elmwood Ave. (see calendar for directions) and paddle a short distance on the river, then turn into the canal.  We then turn into the red creek which should be a nice paddle with the water levels so high this year.   Please be ready to be on the water at 11:00.  Bring extra clothing, snacks, water and your boating gear.  This is a 2 hour paddle.  (and the weather is looking good!!!)

*be sure to check the calendar for new entries.  Jim Bird is leading a paddle next Saturday (the 22nd) around Howland Island.  This looks like a really nice one.  You must be able to paddle at 3 miles per hour, it's a 9 -10 miles fairly easy paddle.  Be sure to call Jim if you're interested.
