This Monday we'll be paddle on the Seneca Canal from Waterloo to Seneca lake and return. This is a fairly sheltered paddle from wind - but the weather looks HOT. Be sure to bring sunscreen and lot's of water!!!
We will launch at the Oak Island Community Center Park im Waterloo. There is a concrete pad for launching, ample parking and bathrooms. We'll paddle about 5 miles to the park at the end of the lake (we will NOT be paddling on the lake unless it is like glass
and the group wants to paddle there...it has NEVER been condusive in the past). We'll stop for lunch (bring a lunch) then return to our cars. This is about a 4 hour paddle (1.5 each way plus lunch time). Don't hold us to the time however - we never know
for sure!!
