You may sign it and bring it to the hike OR email the signed form (scanned or digital) back to the hike leader. The link for the “club’s release of liability form” can be found on the right-hand side of the Hiking page on the ADK website or at this link  NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO HIKE WITHOUT A MASK AND A SIGNED LIABILITY RELEASE FORM. We will meet at 9:45 A.M. at the Trailhead.  Each hiker will need to be prepared to share a ride in another hikers car. CONTACT leader for trailhead location.  We will start hiking at 10:00 am for a 5+  hour hike. Bring a lunch we will be eating on the trail. We will hike approximately 10 miles and approx.  1500 ft  of elevation gain. This will be an end to end hike. We will have to preposition some of the cars, in order to be able to portage some hikers back to their cars. ***************************************************************** To participate on this hike : Each hiker will have to designate a driver they are comfortable riding with . (i.e. inside their covid bubble or one of the leaders that has been vaccinated). ***************************************************************** To attend this hike you must contact the hike leader for approval to attend and to learn the trailhead location. The leader needs to verify that the hiker is prepared for a hike in this state forest and that there is adequate parking for all attending. He doesn't want to find out that a person can't hike in these conditions and that hiker may need to return to Rochester.  The trailhead will depend on the size of the group and carpooling logistics. Please bring water, lunch and be prepared for spring weather conditions (cold and rainy).  Always carry microspikes in your car.     Dogs are not allowed on this hike. All our hikes have a steady pace, so are not "nature strolls" but they are also not "endurance tests", although we do at times hike at a brisk pace. You'll always want to bring lunch and plenty to drink. Equally important, is the proper footwear, gear and clothing for changing conditions. Our hikes our planned by our leaders to last three hours, but many times unexpected delays can occur, so If you are pressed for time, this hike may not be a good fit. .We're always looking for new places to go and additional leaders. Minors are welcome when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. If not, the responsible adult must have the signed release which is available on our website. Dogs are not allowed on this hike.
