You have an upcoming event   Finger Lakes Trail Maintenance Day Saturday Mar 28, 2026 Hosted By: Genesee Valley Chapter Region: Finger Lakes Region Activity Category: Hiking,Trail Work/Conservation Trip rating: N/R Leader: Bruce Thayer Leader Email: bruce...@rochester.rr.com Leader Phone #: 5857438470 Group work day for the 10 miles of the Finger Lakes Trail maintained by GVC.  Carpooling from Lowes Marketplace/Henrietta is encouraged.  Spring clean-up involves removal of branches and limbs that have fallen on the trail over winter, trail repair from spring runoff if needed and cleaning of drainage channels.  Typical work day ends early to midafternoon.  Optional group stop for all you can eat buckwheat pancakes with maple syrup at Cartwright Maple Tree Inn on the way home.  Come and enjoy the spring wildflowers.
