Park near Algonkian Shelter at the turnoff to Devils Bathtub. The approximately 3 mile hike will take us through grasslands, woods, and along a marsh. We will meet at 9:30 AM, have a short talk on the solstice, and start hiking at 9:45. Upon our return we will do a craft of solar art. Bring water, snack, and clothing to fit the weather conditions. If the weather is nice, I encourage families to bring lunch and enjoy MPP on your own after our hike.  While some restrictions have been lifted, in order to maximize the safety and well-being of all hikers during the COVID-19 Pandemic, ADK has put in place some Guidelines which you must agree to and follow if you participate in ADK hikes. • No participants who have any symptoms of illness, respiratory or not. • This hike is limited to 25 participants. • Social distancing from non-household participants. • FACE MASKS REQUIRED. • You must read and sign the club's Release of Liability Form. You may sign it and bring it to the hike OR email the signed form (scanned or digital) back to the hike leader. Form can be found at adk-gvc.org/play/hiking/
