The Boy Scouts are having their annual 21 Stores for Scouts Rappelling event at Kodak Tower in Downtown Rochester at 343 State Street.

They are looking for a few volunteers that are interested in helping out on the ropes by helping securing people on the rappelling lines from above and helping people safely land at the base of Kodak Tower.

A training session is held on Aug Thursday Aug 26 from 1-4 pm at Kodak Office 343 State Street and volunteers receive a free rappel off of Kodak tower as part of their training.

Volunteers are asked to work either a full shift 8 - 5 pm or 4 hour shift on Friday Aug 27 as the event runs.

Food and drinks and free parking are provided for volunteers along with all required safety gear.

This is a very safe and fun event.
