Our original location is being cleaned the week before us so our new location to pick up is from Wayneport Road towards Macedon. We will meet in the Wayneport Rd parking lot for the Erie Canal. ( 43.07609, -77.36101) We will spend an hour or so picking up trash along the Erie Canal and hike for at least an hour. If participants have flexibility, the event could go a little past noon. Please bring a trash bag or two and protective gloves for picking up trash. Dress for the weather and bring water and a snack. I will have some hand sanitizer. Shoes with good traction may be helpful, no poles needed. This will be a flat area that we are cleaning up. After an hour or so we will park our trash bags and hike for an hour to get some exercise. Upon return we will pick up our trash and take it home with us to deposit in our own trash pick up. Let's do our part for Earth Day and keep our canal beautiful! Thanks!
