| Ingredients: | 2 cups frozen and then thawed green beans - drained 15.5 oz can of black beans - drained 15.5 oz can of kidney beans - drained 15.5 oz can of northern beans - drained 1 medium red onion 1/2 cup canola oil 1/2 cup white vinegar 1/4 cup sugar 1 tsp salt Fresh chives |
| Steps to Make the Recipe: | Mix all the beans together. Toss beans with the onion. Combine the oil with the remaining ingredients and pour over the beans. Marinate overnight or longer. Drain and dehydrate until crunchy. In the field, cover with water (hot or cold) and wait until tender. Makes about 5.5 cups before dehydrating. Package 3/4 cup wet per person. |

| Comments: | This is a great option for lunch ... re-hydrate using cold water at lunch time, wait until soft then wrap in a tortilla. It is also good to eat as a dry crunchy snack. |
