Smt. Manda Krishna Powar, Aged 35 years, R/O Village & P.O. -Vartaknagar, Taluka –Mokhada , Distt.Thana , Maharashtra – an illiterate labourer whose annual family income was around Rs.8000/- p.a. She came    to know about NSTFDC  and its programmes from the Govt. Officials of the area and decided to avail NSTFDC loan for setting-up a General Store Shop a ther residence.  The District Office of the State Agency of    NSTFDC helped her in applying for the loan in January 2005. She was sanctioned an amount of Rs.40000/- for the purpose in July 2005. Since then she has been running the shop successfully and is earning a    net income of about Rs.2200/- p.m. She has been repaying the loan regularly. This additional income has helped her in building a new house for her family
