आदिवासी बंधुनो ! पुसद मधून मी निवडणूक लढू का ? -Madhav Sarkunde
खरेच पुसद मतदार संघ आदिवासी समाजाच्या अस्तित्वाचा आणि अस्मितेचा राजकीय गर्भपात आहे .पुसद मतदार संघात आदिवासीची मतदार संख्या निवडून येण्यासारखी आहे. परंतु तिथे कोणाचेच गणित का जमत नाही हा संशोधनाचा प्रश्न आहे.या मतदार संघातून आदिवसी समाज १९८० पसुन नाईक घराणेशाहीला शह देण्याच प्रयत्न करत आहे. परंतु एकही प्रयत्न आतापर्यंत यशस्वी झाला नाही.
१९८० साली श्री शामराव काका तडसे श्री सुधाकरभाऊ नाईक ह्यांच्या विरोधात उभे होते. त्यांनी ३० हजार ५५३ मत घेतली. नाईक साहेबांना ४८ हजार ३६८ मते मिळाली आणि ते विजय झाले. १९९० मध्ये श्रीराम अंभोरे हे जनता दलाच्या तिकिटावर श्री सुधाकर नाईकांच्या विरोधात उभे झाले.त्याना ३४ हजार ८८ मत पडली तर नाईकांना ५९ हजार ३६४ मत पडली. त्यानंतर मी स्वतः पुसदमध्ये पोट निवडणुकीला उभा होतो. मला २६ हजार २३० मत मिळाली. २००४ व २००९ साली डॉ आरती फुफाटे शिवसेने कडून उभ्या राहिल्या. त्यांना अनुक्रमे ५१ हजार २२६ व ४६ हजार २९६ अशी मते मिळाली. डॉ आरती फुफाटे ह्यांना सर्व आदिवासी उमेदवारापेक्षा जास्त मते मिळाली. त्यांनी राष्ट्रवादीत जाण्याची घाई केली नसती तर या वेळी त्या हमखास आमदार झाल्या असत्या आणि आदिवासी समाजाच्या राजकीय इतिहासात त्याचे नाव सुवर्ण अक्षरात कोरल्या गेले असते.
पुसदमध्ये नाईक घराण्याच्या विरोधात जे जे आदिवासी उमेदवार उभे झाले ते सर्व सरते शेवटी (आपली हार मानून कि काय ठाऊक नाही ) श्री मनोहर नाईक ह्याच्या कंपूत जाऊन सामील झाले. फक्त त्यापैकी मीच एकटा अलिप्त राहिलो. मला स्वतः मा. सुधाकरभाऊ नाईक ह्यांनी त्यांच्या बंगल्यावर बोलावले होते.मला आठवते तो सूर्यग्रहणाचा दिवस होता.ते म्हणाले : सरकुंडे तुम्ही आमच्या सोबत काम करा.श्री मनोहर नाईक सुद्धा मला म्हणाले: तुम्हाला आम्ही सेटल करू. मी त्यांना नकार देऊन तडक यवतमाळला आलो. माझ्या समाजाची किमत देवून स्वतासाठी मी कधीच कुणाकडू काही घेणार नाही हे माझे तत्व आहे.
पुसदमधील कार्यकर्त्ये आपला जन्म केवळ पंचायत समिती / जिल्हा परिषदेचा सदस्य होण्यासाठीच झाला असे समजतात. आणि काही झाले तर इथून आंध समाजाचा कोणीच निवडूण येवू द्यायचे नाही ह्या साठी सतत फिल्डिंग लावत राहतात. नाईकाचे आपल्यावर फार मोठे उपकार आहेत असे ते मानतात. आणि महत्वाचे म्हणजे नाईक साहेबाना जाण असायला हवी होती. आंध समाजाचे एवढे मत असून त्यांचा कधी एम एल सी साठी त्यंनी विचार केला नाही . उलट ज्यांचे १ हजरही मत नसतील त्या डॉ हिराणी ह्यांना ते एम एल सी बनवता. निवडणुकीच्या काळात २/४ आंध समाजाच्या काराकार्त्याना पैसे देऊन ते अख्खा समाज गळाला लावतात.
जे जे हार मानून नाईकाच्या बंगल्यात गेले त्यांनी पुसदमध्ये उभे राहणायचा
अधिकार गमावून टाकला. माझा अधिकार अजून कायम आहे. मला जर वाटले तर मी
याही निवडणुकीत अर्ज भरू शकतो. फक्त पुसदच्या आदिवसी , दलित व बहुजन
मतदारांनी आणि महाराष्ट्रातील आदिवसी जनतेनी माल आशीर्वाद द्यावा. मी तयार
आहे.मला तीन पक्ष तिकीट द्याला तयार आहेत. सांगा मित्रानो! मी काय करू ? -Madhav Sarkunde

I personally think that you should take up this fight for the tribal cause as you have rightly mentioned.
But please don't do it with anti adivasi parties like bjp sena mns and ncp congress.

It's surprising to see this kind of advocacy that only winning is important. How ..? It will be much better to remain as a sincere and honest activist than getting elected by bjp sena mns ncp that are anti adivasis and bjpsena are the worst because they are communal and call us as Vanvaasis. Having no ideology and only individualistic and sectarian approach is also dangerous.

In last six decades, is there any political party which has advocated for tribal welfare by at least broadly demanding Vth Schedule implementation, rationalizing economic & political reservation etc...
It is this premise which shud guide us for future decision making.
Undoubtedly activism is an alternative but only when it has that mass support; we cd not afford to await that day to happen in a case relatively secular & non-communal political power is in the offering to an ideologically sound person.

I am sure that the communist parties since before independence are with tribes. It includes a long struggle for land reforms and protection of forest rights of tribals. They have done everything possible to bring forest rights act legislation. Even today they are struggling for implementation of it. Now, in the case of dhangars issue only communist parties have taken a strong stand against this nonsense demand by dhangars. I think this is absolutely wrong to put all in a same yardstick when history is telling the communists' s role so much outstanding.
