I suggest a beta of 10.5.10.3 be built and distributed at least for a couple days. Then the changes between 10.5.10.2 and 10.5.10.3 should be applied to 10.5.11 and that finalized if possible… but we should make the minimum move to address the current need first.

'Minimum move' meaning the security patch and the AIM fix, yes?

Sorry, but here's an idea for a minimum move: Notify 1.5.10.2 users
that they are currently at extreme risk. Put it on the front page of
the website. Contact CERT. What century is this?

Yes.

Who has been doing the most recent beta releases? My cachefly credentials are no good apparently.

Best regards,
Evan

Hi,

Feedback on Cocoaforge and Twitter suggests people seem to be happy about seeing a new Adium version. :-)

As far as I can tell there haven't been any reports of regressions for 1.5.10.3b1 whatsoever so I suppose we can consider releasing 1.5.10.3 tomorrow, one week after the beta.

Regards,
Robbie

Hi,

Quick update. These two regressions were reported today
- https://trac.adium.im/ticket/17104, "crash on libpurple or resolver memory error": I have seen similar crashes with 1.5.10.3b1. But I think there have also been some with previous versions so probably not strictly a regression…
- https://trac.adium.im/ticket/17105, "text jammed together in windows too narrow": That's an odd one. I cannot think of any changes in 1.5.10.3b1 that could account for that regression.

Ideas?

Cheers,
Robbie

Hi,

https://trac.adium.im/ticket/17097#comment:8 reports AIM as broken with 1.5.10.2.

How do we proceed?

Cheers,
Robbie

By releasing 1.5.10.3, I suggest.

Evan

Thijs,

Is there anything else you need help with to release 1.5.10.3 and have an AIM and security stable build available?
