Exporting Data in Comma Delimited

When exporting data in this format the date are back to front and in
number format not as a date.

Is this correct?

As I have sent a file to a friend who has asked me the question, I
don't know the answer.

The date format in CSV export files is YYYYMMDD
This is convenient for sorting purposes, but not always that easy for
humans.
If this causes a problem, you could use a spreadsheet export, and
define the required columns
via a 'user-defined report'
